Water Treatment Risk Assessment

It is a legal requirement that  a Legionella Risk Assessment carried out every two years on your water services.

An AMAC Services Representitive will assess your risks in compliance to the health and safety guidelines of "L8-The Control of Legionella

Bacteria in Water Systems"

A site survey will be done by of your water system and a written report will be completed. This report will contain risk assesment information from the water source to the point of use.

The report will contain:

• Where the risks are present;
• Rectification works required to minimise the risk;
• Important information on further treatment programmes and regimes;
• legionella pneumophila and E-Coli test result;
• A schematic of your water system

All our advice will be given to you in order for you to comply with the law and keep compliance with the health and safety guidelines of "L8-The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems"

Tank Cleaning

• 

AMAC Services UK Ltd recommend that all water storage tanks be cleaned at least once per annum. Stagnation or sedimentation or position of your tank may require you to have it cleaned more frequently

Our tank cleaning comprises of draining the water using pumps and cleaning the tank with non abrasive cleaner, All the grime and sedimented will be cleared.

After the cleaning of the tank we will then chlorinate the tank and down services to remove any dirt or grime in the associated pipes.

Bacteriological Testing

In order to meet the"L8-The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems" AMAC Services UK Ltd provides Bacteriological Analysis of your water system.

We take samples from many points of the system testing for legionella pneumophila and E-Coli. This will isolate any growth of the bacteria present and an Treatment programme can be implemented to remove the bacteria.

Briritsh Standard 6700:1997- makes it compulsory to undertake water sampling for bacteria analasis and control.

By having water samples you can be sure that your water is free from bacteria and have peace of mind you are following the complying with the Law.
