It is vitally important that as part of your company’s’ complete water maintenance program (for all water supplies over 400 ltrs, as per the L8 legislation), regular Legionella Risk Assessments are carried out.
AMAC Services UK Ltd can assess the risk and apply remedial work to give you peace of mind that you and your staff will remain protected from harmful bacteria. These services include:

• Water Treatment Risk Assessment. AMAC Services will assess your risks in compliance to the health and safety guidelines of "L8-The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems"

• A site survey will be done of your water system and a written report will be completed. This report will contain risk assessment information from the water source to the point of use. The report will contain:

• Where the risks are present;

• Rectification works required to minimize the risk;

• Important information on further treatment programs and regimes;

• legionella pneumophila and E-Coli test result;

• A schematic of your water system

All our advice will be given to you in order for you to comply with the law and keep compliance with the health and safety guidelines of "L8-The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems"

• Tank Cleaning. AMAC Services UK Ltd recommends that all water storage tanks be cleaned at least once per annum. Stagnation or sedimentation or position of your tank may require you to have it cleaned more frequently. Our tank cleaning comprises of draining the water using pumps and cleaning the tank with non-abrasive cleaner, all the grime and sediment will be cleared.

• Bacteriological Testing. In order to meet the"L8-The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems" AMAC Services UK Ltd provides Bacteriological Analysis of your water system. British Standard 6700:1997- makes it compulsory to undertake water sampling for bacteria analysis and control.
